The printing press was first invented around the year 1440. By making it possible to print volumes of literature, it marked a milestone in man’s ability to communicate.
In the mid 1990’s, a new form of communication had begun to become widely available: The Internet. Now, virtually anyone with a little bit of technical know-how could launch a website with information that could be available to anyone in the world.
By the late 1990’s, blogs, originally known as weblogs, had begun to appear throughout the internet. Originally serving as a platform for online journals, blogs are now the foundation for virtually every type of website available. They now constitute a significant amount of the webspace, with literally millions of blogs online.
By far, the most popular blogging tool available is WordPress. Setting up a WordPress site takes minutes, is infinitely customizable and is easily scaleable to your particular needs.
Now, the question is do you have something to say? Can the world benefit from your active participation? If so, you should be blogging!
